Born from Survival, Built for Hope
Cancer Impact Support Services (CISS) was founded by Chizara Philips, a breast cancer survivor whose personal journey of resilience became the foundation for a movement of healing and empowerment. CISS provides emotional, physical, and social support during and after cancer, with programs including wellness coaching, mindset building, peer-led groups, and culturally informed outreach.
No matter the stage of the journey, CISS helps survivors rebuild confidence, restore hope, and live with purpose.

Meet Chizara Philips
Chizara Philips is a grade 3 breast cancer survivor whose journey through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery inspired Cancer Impact Support Services (CISS).
Experiencing the emotional isolation and uncertainty after her diagnosis, she made it her mission to create a space where no one has to rebuild their life alone.
Her story has grown into a movement of support, strength, and connection, shaping CISS’s focus on emotional healing, holistic wellness, and resilience-building for survivors across the UK, Nigeria, and the African diaspora.
Empowering Survivors to Rebuild Their Lives
To empower cancer survivors to rebuild their lives with confidence, strength, and purpose. Through holistic support addressing emotional, physical, and social challenges, we help individuals rediscover their identity, restore resilience, and reconnect with community.
A World Where No Survivor Walks Alone
We envision a world where no cancer survivor faces recovery alone. Every individual, regardless of background, should have access to tools, support, and community needed to heal and thrive. Our goal is a future where hope is restored, stigma is broken, and survivors are empowered to live fully with dignity, purpose, and strength.
